Dusty Weber Accident – A Wisconsin man was killed in a Friday crash including a motorcyclist and a pickup truck, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
The State Patrol distinguished the motorcyclist as Steven Thomas Weber, 56, of Hudson, Wis. Weber was articulated dead at the accident scene from wounds he continued in the impact.
The accident was accounted for at 4:01 p.m. Friday at the crossing point of Yellow Medicine County Road 7 and U.S. Thruway 212, west of Granite Falls. A 2012 Dodge Ram driven by James Dean Stavne, 27, of Granite Falls was headed westward on County Road 7 when it crashed into a 2006 Harley Davidson bike driven by Weber. Weber was headed westward on Highway 212 at the hour of the accident, the State Patrol said.
Stavne and two travelers in the pickup were safe in the accident, while Weber was articulated dead at the scene, the State Patrol said. Weber was not wearing a cap, the State Patrol announced.
The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office, the Granite Falls Police, the Montevideo Police and Montevideo Ambulance all reacted at the accident scene.
