Ethan Thomas Death: OREGON – Ethan Robert Thomas, 35, of Oregon, once in the past of Chana, a child any mother and father would be glad for, passed on Friday, August 16, 2019, from wounds got in a workplace mishap. Conceived October 15, 1983, in Rockford, the child of Howard “Duke” and Mindy (Mearns) Thomas and was a Mayflower relative. Ethan was a 2002 alumni of Oregon High School, worked with his father at Thomas Plumbing and Heating and for as long as seven years utilized by CIG Logistics in Rochelle. He adored his canine, Hooch, cherished motion pictures (with a broad assortment) particularly Batman with the Joker, assisted with the old Chana School, and consistently had a joke or a story. Ethan cherished his nieces and nephews, and they adored him and appreciated rooting for his twin siblings running track.
He was a stalwart Chicago Cubs and Bears fan, featured by the Cubs’ World Series win, heading off to the triumph march in Chicago. He once entered a 72-ounce steak-eating challenge in Amarillo, TX, which was communicated live and missed finishing the test. Even though not a congregation goer, he was a Christian. An inside and out hero, Ethan was consistently there to assist anybody that required assistance and will unquestionably be missed. He had the best and most giving heart indisputably. Gone before in death by his grandparents, Robert Mearns and Howard and Marie Thomas; uncle, Matt Mearns; uncles, Wayne Thomas, Robert Thomas and Roger Fisher; auntie Nancy Greenfield; and cousin, Matt Thomas. Memorial service administrations will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 22 in Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, Oregon. Internment in Daysville Cemetery.
