Joe Nyaga Death – Joe Nyagah, a previous pastor and official competitor, is dead, his family has affirmed.
Nyagah kicked the bucket on Friday at a clinic in Nairobi. He was 72 years of age.
Family sources disclosed to Standard Digital he had been engaging Covid-19.
An Alliance High School, University of Nairobi, Northwestern University, Kelloggs Business School-prepared understudy, Nyagah started public assistance as an Ambassador in Brussels, Belgium in the mid 1980s.
President Daniel arap Moi then delegated him as the Managing Director and CEO of Kenya Airways in 1987, a position he held for a very long time and nine months.
Nyagah was chosen as a Member of Parliament for Gachoka Constituency in 1998 and filled in as a pastor in different services including the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Ministry of Lands and Settlement.
He quit as an individual from the administering Kenya African National Union (Kanu) and as a pastor in the approach the 2002 General Election.
In that year, he challenged the Gachoka body electorate seat on a resistance ticket. He won.
Nyagah was an individual from the Orange Democratic Movement’s ‘Pentagon’ ahead of the pack up to the 2007 General Election.
He was designated Minister for Cooperative Development by Raila Odinga and Mwai Kibaki during the Grand Coalition Government.
The Nyagah family has held influence in the governmental issues of Kenya.
His dad, Jeremiah Nyagah, served in President Daniel arap Moi’s bureau.
His sibling Nahashon Nyagah filled in as legislative leader of the Central Bank of Kenya.
A subsequent sibling, Norman Nyagah, filled in as Member of Parliament for Gachoka body electorate in the Opposition Democratic Party.
In 2017, Joe Nyagah fruitlessly challenged the administration as a free applicant.
